Most Patients Qualify
Planned Parenthood understands that for many people, paying for medical services can be a burden. We offer several programs that may help you get FREE reproductive health care services. In fact, most Planned Parenthood patients qualify for free services.
There are several programs and each program is different. Our experienced staff will work with you to determine which program best meets your needs.
I make too much money to get Medicaid. Can I still get FREE services?
Yes. Some programs provide FREE services — annual exam, birth control, and more — for women and men.
• You can earn over $20,400 per year (single person) and qualify for FREE services on the Family Planning Benefit Program.
• You can earn over $27,300 (single parent with a child) and qualify for FREE services on this program. If you have questions or want more information, contact Planned Parenthood.
Can men get FREE services?
Yes. There are programs that provide FREE services for men and women, ages 10 and older. You may qualify for health screening, birth control, testing/treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and HIV testing.
I’m a teen. Can I get FREE services (without using my parents’ insurance)?
Yes. You may apply for FREE services based on your own income. We do not have to use your parents’ insurance or income.
I have private insurance. Is there a program that will pay my insurance co-pays or deductibles
Yes. ? Some patients with commercial insurance may qualify for a program that will pay any co-pays or deductibles, so your services are FREE.
How do I sign up for FREE services?
Easy. Just call any of our 12 centers and ask for more information.
• We will tell you what you need to bring in to apply for FREE services.
• We will help you fill out any necessary paperwork and make the process as easy as possible.
