Stock Gifts & IRA Distributions:
We are delighted to accept gifts of securities and distributions from IRAs. Giving this way not only supports PPMH programs, but may offer you significant tax savings. Talk to your broker or financial advisor for details.

Bequests & Other Planned Gifts:
Remembering PPMH in your will or estate plan is one of the most meaningful gifts you can give the young people of tomorrow. Discuss this option with your lawyer and also think of PPMH when designating beneficiaries for your investment funds and insurance policies.

Workplace Donations:
Donations to PPMH may be specifically designated through the donor option plan offered by United Way, SEFA, and CFC. Since PPMH is not a member agency of these campaigns, we do not receive general funds from them - only donor-designated contributions.
Be sure to use the full name "Planned Parenthood Mohawk Hudson" and also ask that your contribution be acknowledged. Acknowledgement means we are given your name so we can attribute the donation to you and thank you! This gives you the verification that your
gift arrived where intended. You can still choose to be anonymous, if you prefer; just let us know when we send your thank you.

Matching Gifts:
Many employers will match employee gifts to charitable organizations. Contact your Human Resources Department to find out if your employer has this plan and to request a corporate matching gift application form. Just complete the form and mail it to us with your check. Examples of regional companies that do match gifts are Quad Graphics, General Electric (see details below), and GlaxoSmithKline.

GE Match:
Planned Parenthood Mohawk Hudson is a part of the General Electric Foundation Matching Gifts Program.
Due to the number of GE employees and retirees among our donors, the recent inclusion of PPMH in the General Electric Foundation Matching Gifts Program was very significant. GE will match gifts of cash or securities up to $50,000 per calendar year per donor.

Other:
In certain situations, PPMH is able to accept gifts of real estate, art, medical equipment, and other valued items. You should understand that PPMH may sell these assets. Prior to making such a gift, please contact the Development Office. Appraisals for such property are the legal responsibility of the donor.
