SAFE Campaign
Safety First
Our new Schenectady Center is called The Evelyn and David Sencer Center, named with
gratitude and in memory of Evelyn and David's generosity to Schenectady Planned Parenthood.
The SAFE
Campaign relocated our Schenectady Center to a new facility at 1040 State Street, with an entrance
directly off the parking lot, ensuring patient privacy and safety. The new building houses
administrative offices and relieved severe overcrowding. The SAFE Campaign will
raise $1,900,000 for our new Sencer Center.
We're Growing
Our new Saratoga Springs Center is The A.C. Riley Center, named with admiration and in
honor of A.C. Riley by her family.
The SAFE Campaign relocated our Saratoga Springs Center to a
building at 236 Washington Street. The new building accommodates current and future patient volume
and provides handicapped accessibility. It also houses our Sex Education Resource Center, with
space for PPMH's Training Institute and community educators. The SAFE Campaign will raise $1,000,001
for our new A.C. Riley Center.
Keeping the Protesters at Bay
The SAFE Campaign will renovate our Utica Center to create a private and safe entrance off the parking lot.
Additional parking has already been created through the purchase and demolition of abandoned houses
in the neighborhood. Critical infrastructure improvements are also in our plans. The SAFE Campaign will raise
$600,000 for our Utica Center.
Expanding Services
The SAFE Campaign will move our Gloversville Center to a new Johnstown location. The former South Perry Street
train station will be renovated to allow handicapped access and provide more space for expanding both family planning
and sexual assault services. The SAFE Campaign will raise $150,000 for our new Johnstown Center.
Updating the Infrastructure
The SAFE Campaign will give our Glens Falls Center much needed infrastructure improvements. Additionally, an exterior door
near the recovery room will be renovated to provide a secure exit to protect patient privacy. The SAFE Campaign will
raise $110,000 for our Glens Falls Center.
