The services provided by PPMH help our patients respond to and create positive change in their lives every day.

With your contribution to the Annual Fund, we can provide the highest quality services to those in need, and continue to positively impact thousands of lives each year. This year, with your help,...

Our health services will:

• Serve 23,000 patients in 12 counties.
• Provide 50,000 family planning visits.
• Provide 3,400 prenatal visits.
• Provide 2,900 abortions at the Glens Falls, Schenectady and Utica centers.
• Provide 4,200 HIV tests, 24,000 tests for sexually transmitted infections, 15,000 pap tests, and 14,000 pregnancy tests.
• Serve 3,300 family members monthly through our WIC (Women, Infants and Children) Nutrition Program in Herkimer and Madison counties.
• Individually counsel 375 clients through our Sexual Assault Support Services, which will answer 450 hotline calls.

Our education programs will:

• Reach 27,000 individuals and family members with education programs.
• Involve teens in peer education and learning leadership skills through the Teen View, Teens Helping Teens, and What's Up? programs.
• Provide family sessions for parents needing resources and support to improve conversations with their teens.

Our advocacy program will:

• Monitor patient rights and access to services and inform supporters of barriers that may exist due to funding restrictions, hospital structures, pharmacy practices, or other policies and practices.
• Keep public service and governmental workers informed of community needs for reproductive health care and related services, including comprehensive sexuality education in schools.
